Meet Jodi Miller
Jody has worked in agricultural marketing since 2000, specializing in hedge risk management for ag producers. She works closely with farmers to develop practical hedging strategies tailored to their individual operations, combining cash sale recommendations with futures and options to manage market volatility. Jody is a Commodity Broker with Midwest Market Solutions, where she operates the Thief River Falls, Minnesota branch office.

Jody maintains Series 3 and Series 30 licenses, along with Crop Insurance Agent licenses in Minnesota and North Dakota.
Jody now lives near Goodridge, Minnesota, where she and her husband, Aaron, farm wheat, soybeans, and corn. They are raising four children—Abe, Henry, Peter, and Clara—while continuing their shared commitment to agriculture.

Meet Cole Whittman
Cole has always had a passion for agriculture, from playing with tractors in the sand box as a kid to getting the opportunity to farm the land his father and grandfather did. He has a long history of work experience in the ag industry – from various positions in agronomy and production ag to grain merchandising. These experiences, combined with his Business degree, have prepared him well to identify the challenges farmers face and to find the right solutions to protect their investment in the field.
Cole brings a wealth of knowledge to the Northern Ag team and is an excellent fit for the roll of Market Analyst and Crop Insurance Specialist. He currently holds a Series 3 license as a Commodity Broker and a Crop Insurance Agent license in MN. Cole enjoys working with producers to pair their crop insurance with futures and options trading to help farmers mitigate their risk.
Growing up in rural Warren, MN, Cole has had the privilege and opportunity to participate in many community and professional events and programs. He has served on his local township board, been involved with the Jaycees for several years and served as the Captain of the Fire Department for a decade. He continues to dedicate his time and service to the local fire department. Cole and his wife Kathy reside in the rural Warren, MN area where they enjoy farming, many outdoor activities, and spending time at the lake with their two children Ava and Owen.
